Since two days were / are “checking out” the waters around Phuket for our next “family cruise” in February. First we went north to discover the bay of Phang Nga – hundreds of islands, some hidden caves and beautiful landscapes. We cruised very quiet (we love the missing noise of “diesel” engines) around the different shaped islands – all the tourist only go to see the “famous” James Bond Island. We found a very nice anchorage for overnight and the next day we sailed towards Krabi. We had a nice sail and also filled our batteries a bit.
Krabi also offers a beautiful and amazing landscape and beaches, the rocks are just stunning. Up from the top of the climbing trail, there is a beautiful view of the bays of Krabi.
Today we returned backwind from Krabi to Ao Chalong Bay in the South of Phuket – we love flying our red spinnaker – we had both props down and arrived at the anchorage with allmost full charged batteries.
