We sometime were lucky to see some jumping rays. They jump high out of the water and do some flips. Not sure why they do this. For sure they enjoyed the area due to the high density of plankton, krill and other marine organisms in the water.
When the water was clear, we could also often spot some spotted rays swimming around and hiding in shade of the boat.
Turtles were a rare sight in the bay but the nesting season had not started yet.
